Lecturer in Church History

When I left school I trained as a nurse at Christchurch Polytechnic. After working for a number of years, mainly overseas, I moved into the area of medical sales, and held positions as Product Manager and Sales Manager. In 2006 I began studying for a degree in Theology at Good Shepherd College. I continued my studies in Rome and completed a Licence in Theology, specializing in Church History.

Outside of study I like walking and swimming, singing in a choir, and spending time with family and friends.

Research Interests:
While studying in Rome I was introduced to the field of Patristics which I found fascinating. For my dissertation I chose to write on the fourth century Church Father, Hilary of Poitiers, and his most renowned work, De Trinitate. I hope to continue researching in this field for my doctorate.

Licentiate Tesina:
Substantia and Persona in Hilary of Poitiers De Trinitate
