Applications must be received BEFORE the due date of the assessment (i.e. at latest the day before).
External, unpredictable reasons ("I have been summoned for Jury Duty") are given more weight than matters which are predictable or under your control ("I have several assessments due")
Submitting the application does not mean it is automatically granted.
The decision will be communicated via an email from the Dean, Fr Michael O'Connor, to you and the lecturer.
