DescriptionThis course unit builds upon the knowledge and skills learned in the pre-requisite units. It examines the historical context, literary forms and theological content of the Gospel and Letters of John, and their application to a range of spiritual and pastoral concerns.
Lecturer's IntroductionJohn the Evangelist and Letter Writer offers us a unique insight into the faith and life of early Christianity. In light of that fact we must dedicate a whole semester to study the Johannine Gospel and Letters.
